Ivan Schwarz
Executive Director, Greater Cleveland Film Commission

Ivan Schwarz is a 20-year veteran of the film industry with rich experience. He was co-producer for the popular HBO mini-series, Band of Brothers with Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks. He has also been Location Manager for many significant television productions and movies, including Entourage, My Name is Earl, The Comeback and From the Earth to the Moon, again working with Tom Hanks. Ivan was recruited to work at The Greater Cleveland Film Commission in October of 2006, and took over as Executive Director in August of 2007. Among the many things that attracted Ivan to Cleveland was the opportunity to help build a lucrative film industry and give back something that could help the community. Ivan lives in Cleveland Heights with his wife and daughter.
